As soon as the car left our parking lot I slowly walked over to our couch, and sat down, letting out a huge sigh. My excitement and anticipation for tonight had evaporated and all that I had left was disappointment. I took out my phone and messaged Hailey to tell her that I was not going to make it her party tonight.
