On The Couch

It was really, really late, like about three in the morning, when I heard the front door open. I was up in my bedroom and had been sleeping, but the sound of the door opening woke me up. I peered out my window and saw a car driving off, followed by the sound of my older sister calling out “Good night!” and giggling.
