Nurse Mom – Chapter 2 – My Mom heard us

After realizing that my mother had come home form work about three hours early, my mind was putting it all together. The noise I heard wasn’t my keys, it was hers. She had obviously come in the house knowing someone else was there, and when she saw the pile of clothes in the den, she knew what was going on. There is no way that she hadn’t heard all of the screams coming from Sue. Did she make that noise to let me know she was home so I would keep Sue quiet? I told Sue I would be right back. I grabbed a pair of shorts and went out into the hall. I didn’t see any light coming from Mom’s room. I started down the stairs quietly, and when I got to the first floor, I started to look around. I picked up the clothes that were strewn about the den. When I got close to the patio doors, I saw Mom sitting out by the pool. She had lit some candles and was reading in one of the deck loungers. I took all the clothes back up to the room with me.

Sue knew that my Mom was staying with me, but we both expected to have a few hours of privacy. We had planned that we would play for a few hours and Sue would leave so Mom would never know. Since Mom knew what was going on upstairs, and she was still downstairs, maybe she hadn’t been up in the doorway. My eyes surely were just playing tricks on me earlier.

I told Sue that my Mom had come home early, and that she was downstairs. She turned red with embarrassment as I set our clothes down on the bed. I asked her what she wanted to do. The worst was over, right? We decided that we should just get cleaned up and call it a night. I led Sue to the shower, and we got in to clean up.
