Katie’s Coming Out Sixteenth Birthday Party

It was my sixteenth birthday party and I was wearing a swimsuit in public for the first time. It was a one piece and pretty tame, but up until recently I had been skinny as a rail, with no tits and a flat ass. Until lately I had hated my body. My knees and elbows looked too big for my limbs and I had been downright scrawny. I went from ugly duckling to swan in short order. We were waiting for cake after sundown when a transformer down the street blew, plunging our neighborhood into darkness. That pretty much shut my party down and everybody went home early. Mom and dad were apologetic, but there wasn’t anything they could do. They said they were going to retire early, and that we would clean up in the morning. I told them I wanted to swim a few laps before going to bed. Mom told me to be careful and drug dad into the house.

I took my brother’s shirt off and swam a little, then sat straddling one of the lounge chairs circling the pool.

I was a little startled when I heard a voice behind me. “I guess being fashionably late didn’t work out so well for me did it.”

There, lit by the bright moonlight and a few remaining citronella candles stood Mike Jenkins, school stud and unobtainable heartthrob. “Hey Mike, yeah, no power did my party in.”

He came forward and handed me a small wrapped present. “It’s a gift card, I didn’t know what to get you.” I noticed his stare at my chest and looked down and saw my traitorous nipples poking out nearly their full inch in length.
