Joana, My Mother-In-Law
I stretched out of the sofa, glass of wine in hand with one of the local station playing in the background. My wife was away for few days on a business, and I was taking the opportunity for completely relaxing alone, where all my worries and cares – not that I could think of any at that particular moment in time. As I was enjoying the moment, I heard and saw the rain beating hard against the lounge window.
As I was about to refill the glass, I heard the sound of the doorbell that caused me to curse. I waited for a few moments, trying to decide whether to or ignore whoever had chosen to disturb my peace at that time of the night. In truth, I’d already much decided, given the conditions outside; I’d to answer when the chimes sounded for a second time.
Placing my drink on the other side of the table, I made my way towards the door. Although I could see the outline shape of my evening visitor, I was in no way to determine who it was, or for the matter, if it was a male or female. Turning the latch, I swung open the door to find Joana, my mother-in-law standing inside the small porch, looking very much the worse of the rain.
“Hello Jonny, I wasn’t sure if anyone was in,” she said.
Though not expected, I wasn’t entirely surprised to see it was Joana. She’d always been particularly close to her daughter after having lost her husband just over a year ago.
“Come in,” I prompted, standing to one side as she stepped into the hall.
“Faith’s not here. She’s away for a few days on a business. I thought she’d told you.” I said as I pushed the door closed against the wind and rain.
“No, she didn’t. Now I come to think of it; I do seem to recall her saying something about having to spend two or three days at some stage this month.”
“Is it anything important?” I asked.
“No, not at all. In fact, I just popped over for a bit of company, but if you’re busy I’ll leave you to it,” she said, her body making the gesture that she was ready to depart as quickly as she’d arrived.
“Don’t be silly! There’s no need for that. I’m doing nothing special. In fact, I’d just settled down for a relaxing evening. Here, let me take your coat for you.”
Joana turned, thereby offering the view of her back. As she unbuttoned the front of her coat, I reached up and slipped it off her shoulders. I found myself immediately starting to stir down below the coat now removed, revealed the dress she was wearing.
“Go on through,” I said, turning to hang the coat up the hall. As I did, I couldn’t help but notice her rearview as she made her way down the hall towards the lounge.
Exquisite! I thought to myself, watching those shapely buns of hers jiggle from side to side beneath their soft woollen restraint.
Joana disappeared into the lounge, and I found myself wondering what her reaction might be if she knew the thoughts she’d just stirred or indeed if she knew just how much I fancied her.
I followed her through to the lounge and beckoned for her to make herself comfortable while he poured her a glass of wine. I wasn’t able to resist watching her from out of the corner of my eye as she sat herself down on the sofa. I crossed the room, drink in hand. I offered her the glass, retreating to the armchair as she took it from me.
For the first few minutes, we chatted about Faith, particularly about her job and increasing need for her to spend time away. Throughout the chat, I found myself in a losing struggle in trying to avert my eyes from my mother-in-law gorgeous body. Twice, I’d adjusted my position for the fear that Joana would notice my stirring below.
We continued chatting about nothing in particular, where I allowed myself to become steadily intoxicated by her sensuous body.
Undoubtedly, I was amused, mother-in-law or not; she was one very attractive woman. I afforded myself a smile as I wondered how many of other men could say they had such a fanciable mother-in-law, especially, the way she looked that night.
My eyes drifted up to her ample breasts, each of which was held firm beneath the deep vie of her top, their size enough to cause the soft wool to stretch tantalizingly apart, ensuring just the correct amount of cleavage on display. They seemed to rise and fall with each breath she took, like a gentle swell.
My eyes lowered to trace the outline of her curves, her trim waist, her curvaceous hips, on down to her legs, slender yet firm and nicely shaped all the way down to her seductively slim ankles. MMmmmm! I fantasized how good it would be to wrap them around my body.
Almost subconsciously I heard her voice once more, and while it snapped me out of my trance, I realized I hadn’t heard all of what she’d been saying.
“I’m sorry,” I said. “I must have been daydreaming. What was it you said?”
“Oh, dear Jonny. Is it really that boring listening to your Mother-in-law?”
“No! Of course not. Far from it,” he replied. “I just didn’t catch what you’d said, was all.”
“I was just asking if you’ll be picking Faith up from the airport on her return.”
“No. She’ll get uber back. Besides, her firm’s paying for it.”
“And she will be back on Friday?”
“Yes. Sometime during the evening,” I replied, still finding it difficult to prize my eyes away from her body.
“So poor little old you will have that big bed all to yourself for the next few nights? You’ll feel lost,” she said, and as she did so, she ran a hand, it seemed, purposely down her thigh, uncrossing and crossing her legs in one fluid motion.
While the comment and her subsequent action appeared, on the surface at least, entirely innocent, there was nevertheless something of an undertone about her words and action which caused me a further stirring below.
Yes. I suppose I will,” I replied.
I continued to watch her as she seemed to take an exceptional length of time to smooth down the dress just above her knee. It was almost as if she was trying to draw my attention to her legs, for me to see just how shapely they were.
It didn’t help the stirring down below as I began to imagine it was my hands smoothing down the material on those sumptuous thighs, my fingertips delighting in the soft caress of wool against naked skin and for the third time in as many minutes, I found myself having to adjust my position.
“What about watching a movie?”
“Yes. Fine,” I replied.
Having replenished her glass, I crossed over to the TV. Switching it on, I opened the video cabinet and ran my eye along the list of the titles on show. Most of them had no title. I smiled to myself as an idea formed to my mind. I knew that several of them were movies, and I wondered what Joana’s reaction might be if I put one of something inappropriate by mistake.
“What will she say?” I thought to myself.
