Hannah the Intern

When Hannah first graduated from college, she was worried she would have a hard time finding a job. For a while she did. She interviewed at 10 different companies, none returned for a 2nd interview. It wasn’t until she started applying for waitress jobs that she finally got a call from a company she dreamed of working for. It was for an Administrative Intern job, not her dream job and not in her career field, but she would be working for the International Business Department and that was exactly where she wanted to be. She figured if she could get her foot in the door, get to know the team and Department Head, she could get in when the internship was over.

Hannah got up early her first day and got dressed. She put on her skirt and white blouse. She made sure to pick something that looked good but was not to revealing. She looked at herself in the mirror. She was hot, she knew it. She was Asian, tan and athletic. She ran track in high school and in college. She worked out at least 4 times a week and watched what she ate. She loved looking good. She felt a little horny looking at herself. She had not had sex in over 6 months. She graduated college in Texas and moved to New York City soon after. She had a boyfriend, but he had no interest in moving to a big city. She dated on and off through high school and college. She was no slut, having sex only a handful of times in high school and only with boyfriends in college. She was what you would consider a good girl. She hoped to find someone from the city and go from there, but currently she had her mind on work and pushed her urges down.

Hannah arrived at the office building and checked in with security. She waited for John, her manager, to come and sign her in.

The elevator doors opened a few minutes later and John walked out.

“Hey Hannah Chen, how are you? I hope you were not waiting to long”, John said smiling with his hand out.

“No, it was not long, thank you” Hannah said shaking his hand.

John signed me in as my escort and led me to the elevator.

“You will have your badge tomorrow. We are on the 18th floor. We are very excited to have you.” John said as we entered the elevator.

“I am excited to be here” Hannah said with a smile.

“Well there are 5 interns for the department. There are 32 analysts you will be working with. There are 5 managers above them, Myself, Ken, Malory, Kim and Vin. My boss is Ron, you will see him from time to time, but he works on the 19th floor. He is the department Assistant Director. Above him is Loren. She is the International Business Director. I doubt you will see her, she in on the 23rd floor and either here or at our London Branch. The CEO is Fred. You may meet him this Friday.” John explained as the elevator doors opened.

John led me to my desk and explained the computer and how the office was set up. The 5 managers each had offices on the back wall. The rest of the floor was filled with cubicles. The 5 inters were near the receptionist. When we arrived each do, we needed to check with the receptionist for any work she needed and then check our emails. The work consisted of mostly working with the analysts, making copies, setting up conference rooms, researching information, and almost anything else they needed.

The first day consisted mostly working with HR to complete the in processing and paperwork. Throughout the day many of the analysts stopped by and introduced themselves. They were all nice and wanted to put a name to the face.

The week went by quick as Hannah learned the ropes and met most of the analysts.
