My cousin Jimmy wasn’t too much older than me, I was 15 and he was 22 when this started. I remember before I really got to know him, hearing about how he was always in trouble. I didn’t care moving to a new school because I didn’t have a lot of friends anyway. My mom drove me crazy too. My father seemed distant. I was a very depressed girl.

The first few weeks, maybe a month or so that I had I lived there, I started school and was doing ok. It was still hard to make friends because of how shy I was. I got to know Jimmy a bit better.
