Chris and Christie: Making it work

Continuing the saga of Chris and Christie. If you have not read the other stories, then this one won’t make much sense. The order is as follows:
Chris and Christie
Hailey’s story
Christie’s story
Although I thought I was done with this story, I realized that there was still a story to tell. It took some time to work it out, but I hope you like it.
And I hope the perverts trolling for minors stay out of the comments section…

“EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!”
Jesus, that sound could shatter glass. Chris thought to himself as Christie let go of his hand and began running down the concourse towards Hailey who was making the same high pitched squeal while running towards the two of them.
Onlookers turned as Christie and Hailey met one another, embracing and jumping up and down excitedly in the middle of the airport terminal.
Hailey and Christie had rekindled their friendship over the past year, but this had been the first time that the two of them had seen each other in years.
“OhmigawdOhmigawdOhmigawd!!!” Chris finally caught up to them, and Hailey released Christie and turned towards him.
“And look at you!” She wrapped him in a warm embrace and kissed him right on the lips, much to his surprise and Christie’s consternation. Without missing a beat, Hailey turned and grabbed Christie, pulling the three of them into one giant hug.
Christie smiled faintly, a little taken aback by Hailey’s kiss with Chris. She knew that Chris hadn’t done anything to initiate or invite it, or that she even had anything to be concerned about, but still.
Hailey was getting married this week, what was she doing, kissing Chris!?
The two girls walked away from baggage claim, leaving Chris to trail behind them with the luggage.
As they walked along, they attracted plenty of attention. Christie’s breasts bounced seductively in her tank top, while Hailey’s perky ass swayed back and forth in her yoga pants. Men didn’t even bother trying to hide their attention.
Chris smiled at the sight of the two beauties strolling along arm in arm and all the male admirers they left in their wake.
He was tempted to start telling passers by, “I’ve fucked both of them more times than I can count, and they both know about each other.”

“Oh my God, I can’t believe how good you look!” Hailey gushed.
“Me? Me? My God, you’re gorgeous! And look at those!” Christie nodded towards Hailey’s chest. Hailey grinned and thrust her breasts out.
“I know, right? They were an early wedding present. I finally have a chest!” She grinned and did a little shimmy as she walked. But then she frowned as she glanced at Christie’s D cup breasts. “But they still don’t compare to those. And yours are real.”
Christie smiled at Hailey’s pouting expression. “You’re such a little bitch.” She teased. “And you don’t have to wear three sports bras when you work out. Now show me that rock!” Hailey giggled and held up her hand, showing off her engagement ring.
Christy smiled as she admired the large diamond, and let out a low whistle. “Girl, you struck pay dirt!”
Hailey smiled and whispered conspiratorially, “Not in the bedroom. He’s an infant compared to Chris!” And she squeezed Christies arm as she giggled.
Christy stared straight ahead. This is silly. She thought to herself. I’m the one who put them together. Hailey is one of my best friends. I’ve known for years that they slept together. Why did she kiss him?!?!?
Chris saw Christie stiffen slightly and he sighed to himself. After nearly a year together, he knew how to read her moods, and unfortunately this was one he knew all too well. Although she never said it, he knew that she was jealous of his old girlfriends, and unfortunately they kept bumping into his various ex’s and flings.
At first it was fun, because Christie invariably wound up riding him half the night like a woman possessed. But as time passed, she had grown sullen whenever another girl so much as looked at him. Chris would protest that there had been nothing between them, and for God’s sakes, Miss Henderson was his fifth grade teacher!
But Christie still wasn’t having any of it. She was convinced that Chris had fucked every woman whose path he had crossed. Of course, Chris had to admit that he had cut so many notches in his bedpost that he had whittled it to a stump, but that still didn’t mean he had slept with every woman under the age of 70 in town.

As they exited the terminal, Hailey led them to a dark grey Mercedes S600 sedan. Chris looked at the car admiringly.
“I see that you’re marrying well.” He said.
Hailey made a face at him. “It’s his moms.”
Christie arched an eyebrow at her. “And what are you driving?”
Hailey blushed and mumbled something unintelligible.
“I’m sorry Hailey, I didn’t hear you. What was that?” Christie asked innocently.
Hailey grumped at her and muttered. “The two door coupe. Don’t hate me.”
Chris and Christie laughed as they loaded their luggage into the trunk.
“I’m surprised we don’t have a chauffer.” Chris said.
“You guys…” Hailey whined. “Can we please not talk about this? My mom has been wearing me out with this for months. She’s still pissed that I’m getting married out here instead of back home.”
“Why are you getting married here?” Christie asked her as she climbed into the passenger seat next to Hailey while Chris hopped in the back.
“James’s family is from Charleston.” Hailey said as she pulled into traffic. “They all got married here, and his mom just insisted. The venue is beautiful; it’s an old mansion that’s been converted into an inn. The entire place has been reserved for the wedding, it’s just us. And his family is footing the bill. So dad’s happy about that, but my mom is still grousing. So I’ve just let her and his mom fight it out. I insisted on the things that I wanted, and didn’t bother about the rest. I’m telling you, weddings are such a pain. Speaking of weddings…” She eyed the two of them. “Are there any bells on the horizon for you two?”
Chris squirmed in the backseat and laughed. “I’m still in college, there’s no rush.”
Hailey cast a sidelong glimpse at Christie, and kept silent. Her expression spoke volumes.
As they drove up the highway towards Summerville, the girls chatted about the coming event, while Chris sat in the backseat and watched the scenery. He didn’t like to admit it, but Hailey’s question about his and Christie’s future had made him uncomfortable. He had started working, ostensibly to make money to help with school, but in reality, the G.I.Bill had covered his tuition. The truth was that he really couldn’t handle being around her all the time.
As troubling as it was, he had been wondering if they had a future together. Her jealousy was causing a strain in their relationship, and it wasn’t one that could work through because she refused to admit that it was a problem, and would just pick a fight with him over something inconsequential. Of course, they would always make up later, and the make up sex was fantastic. However, it was getting to the point that they were either fighting or fucking, and Chris was growing tired of it. The problem was it was keeping them from moving forward. He was still living at home, unwilling to take the next step with her until they could sort this out. Also, he was starting to notice that the sex wasn’t the same. It was still passionate, but there was something missing. He had a gnawing feeling that Christie was slowly slipping away from him. He was hoping this trip would help get them back on the right track.

As they pulled into the inn, the couple admired the stately building.
“Oh Hailey, this is gorgeous.” Christie gushed. “It’s going to be such a beautiful wedding.”
Hailey smiled at her. “We’ve taken over the whole place. James and the guys are staying down the road, so it’s just my guests here. We have you guys booked in a great room, king sized bed, sitting room, full bathroom. You’ll love it. It’ll be like your own little honeymoon.”
As they checked in, Hailey invited them to join her and her parents for dinner later that evening, and to finally meet James.
Dinner was a sedate affair, mostly just catching up. Hailey’s parents were happy to see the two of them, and they both met James for the first time.
