An Unexpected Lucky Incident

Chapter 2

Kat was sleeping right beside me. Her hands were around me and her head was resting on my arms, with her feet coiling around mine. I had made her wear her clothes again as it was still damn cold.

Pale moonlight illuminated the room from the window. We were both snuggling in the blanket. I could clearly see her beautiful face and her pink luscious lips.

Her lips curved upwards to form a bright smile unlike any other I had ever seen.

We knew each other for only some months, but it felt like I knew her for a lifetime.

Kat was cute. She was smart. She was beautiful. She was shy.

She was right beside me.

Sometimes in movies they try to describe that magical feeling called love, you really can’t understand it at that time. It is when you fall for it that you realize how wonderful it feels.

I was about 90% sure that I had fallen head over heels for her.

I wasn’t feeling guilty, but I still felt that her first time should’ve been better.

But man was the sex good! She got real horny, real fast. I made a mental note to tease her about that in the morning.

I put her hands in mine and without a single worry in the world, snuggled up even closer to her while smiling.

I woke up next morning, only to find that Kat was not in bed.

I could hear sizzling sounds from the kitchen and the smell of eggs made it quite obvious, that she was cooking.

I smiled recollecting the events that occurred last night.

Kat’s room was girly. The walls were bright yellow. Even her bedsheets were pink!

The bright sunlight managed to merge with the walls, forming a warm and picturesque atmosphere. Her room contained all the essentials of a working college student.

I got out of bed.

After taking another look around the room, it was obvious that Kat was more of an order freak. All of her stuff was in a precise order, even my shoes and jacket from before were taken care of!

I put on my t-shirt and went towards the kitchen out of the room.

There she was, in her white t-shirt and pink pajamas, she had an apron on and was cooking scrambled eggs. I tiptoed behind her and after thinking for a moment, slid my hands towards her waist bringing her into a warm bear hug.

She shivered for a second before melting in my arms.

“Good morning Kat, feeling better after last night?”

“Um, yeah. Mornin’ Jake, last night was quite….good.”

She turned around and flashed a smile that was worth a billion bucks at the very least. Of course she was blushing.

“I, uh, made you breakfast. PB&J and scrambled eggs. You hungry?”

“Oh yeah, I’m starving, but before that I gotta ask. Are you ok about last night? I mean, I don’t want you to be doing something you don’t want to. I could always go if you want me to leave.”

She put her head on to my chest and dug in.

“Please stay. Please don’t leave me too.”

Pearl like tears started to flow down from her face. I wiped her tears and hugged her small body and she melted in my arms.

“Silly! I’ll never leave you.”

She finally stopped crying and smiled at me like I had fulfilled her greatest wish.

“Sorry, I tend to get a bit emotional at times.”

“It’s fine. Let’s have some breakfast now.”

The kitchen was adjoint with the dining room.

Kat took out some plates while I sat at the table. She looked really happy. She sat beside me trying to get even closer. We made some small talk while eating. Soon, breakfast was over and the dishes were washed.

“Coffee?”, Kat asked.

“Sure.”, she brought the coffee and sat down,”You should’ve visited the doctor.”

“I was gonna today, but, prince charming showed up and things instantly heated.”

“For the better, I hope. So, you live here alone?”

It was quite a big apartment.

“Nah, I live with my friend Jennifer. She went to visit her parents for the week. We go to the same college.”

“What course are you doing anyways? You’re becoming a doctor or what?”

“Pff, doctor? You’re so silly. I’m doing a course on architecture at the SAC. It’s just three blocks away from here. What about you?”

“Me, oh, my dad’s got some business running and I help him out whenever I can. He wants me to take over but I’m not really ready yet.”, I half lied. She didn’t need to know, for now.

“Cool, cool.”

“You don’t have any siblings or so?”

“I have a little sister, she’s still in highschool.
